I can really attest to the chants of Aaaaa and Ooooo.
I noticed this very sharply on cannabis that the A and O were coming from the heart and throat.
But for the chant to be effective, it has to be INFUSED with one's force/will, it has to be heartfelt/real - which I found was effortless on cannabis, but in my sober state, it felt sorta mechanical and forced.
Usually in my ordinary sober state, I do not feel the will to do any spiritual practice.
My experience is usually, hmm I can call it something like formless relaxation and whatever happens from there is allowed, and it takes me some mental effort to do practices.
So I found that I had to put a subtle effort to do each step.
But yea, I'm sure there are others who would benefit a lot from the practice.
Every practice has its value.
G. - Thank you, Deepak. Every practice has it value, and every person responds individually.
After a few times, heart breathing became natural and effortless for me - especially when applied as it arises over the day. I also find my heart breathing is enhanced with cannabis.
May I add your comments to a Whole Human blog post with your name?
D. - Yea, sure.
I do resonate with your overall message of resting in the heart space with the breath that is where one is naturally taken in conscious relaxation.
