On the Açores, the elements of nature are raw and present. Around me now, stormy winds blow with gusto against the stone house, and rain beats upon its tiled roof. The Atlantic crashes against the rocky coast. On a neighboring island, land has been newly created by volcanic flow — so it's easy to imagine there is fire under my feet. We've also had days of blue skies and brilliant sunshine. On some days, low lying clouds creep slowly along the ground, making fog so dense it feels like gazing into nothingness. This morning we have both gusty winds and creeping thick fog.

So far, each day there have been breaks in the storm and fog long enough for walks into the gentle, pastoral countryside of Santa Maria island. Grazing cows are as much a part of the landscape as the stone ruins, vividly colored flowers, and the farmers who tend their herds.

We enjoy to see the cows grazing in lush pastures and joke with them about our moo-ving experience as we walk past. Sometimes, though, the scene is not so serene as the roads are narrow, often with high banks on both sides, and farmers move their herds on them daily. A walker was recently trampled to death by a cow who reacted to the dog tied to him by a waist leash, taking it as a threat to her calves.

On our last excursion to a place of natural beauty with a high stone wall, we felt too close to a larger herd on the road which seemed out of the control of the one woman who tried to move them. Usually there is at least one truck ahead of the herd and sometimes another following behind. But this time the woman was alone on foot while the herd scattered in its confusion until a man joined her by truck.

After that, fog rolled in until we couldn't see ahead of us to know if a herd was trampling towards us or not. When there is no path of escape, it can be unnerving and intimidating.

Later while doing my moving meditation, I watched a similar scene as one cow broke free from the others and ran down the road towards a woman bicyclist, bringing a gasp from her. We have also on occasion scrambled up a high bank and clung to a tree to let a herd pass by. We climbed down after they passed, but immediately scrambled up again as more cows came along. At that, we laughed, but the threat can feel real and make the adrenaline pump.

There are stretches of road here which strike a memory chord each time I walk them, of the Maui rainforest and the road to the village of Hana. Only, the Azores rainforest feels lighter and the landscape gentler. Overlooking the green hills, I could be in the Shire populated by gentle hobbits. This land requires a sturdy folk also, to exist in the economic slowness and unrelenting forces of nature.

In the midst of all this, another current runs deeper...

This was written because it feels essentially true in my heart — as experimental, experiential, and creative thoughts. I've not yet fully lived constant felt connection, but reach for it daily.

​CONSTANT FELT CONNECTION

Constant felt connection with the Source I Am solves all problems of apparent separation.

Apparent separation is the root of all 'problems' of this realm.

The solutions of felt connection change what can be changed and accept what cannot, guided by higher wisdom.

Words of wisdom as constant felt connection are challenged by apparent separation to be lived.

Identifying with the Source I Am supports felt connection, while identifying with something greater than oneself outside oneself supports apparent separation.

Recognizing apparent separation and releasing attachments resolves issues of ego and personality. Giving attention to ego and entities of separation enhances their status.

The Source I Am can be understood as Love for Love Itself.

Love for Love Itself can be understood as a self-existent toroidal sphere of intelligent free flowing plasma, hologrammed into infinite, nested, form.

Plasma can be understood as liquid electricity.

​Toroidal is meant here as imploding to a center point and radiating outward in a circular flow, within a sphere of light.

Unconditional love in action gives evidence of felt connection anchored.

Faith and intuitive feeling reach past apparent separation.

Intellectualizing may support apparent separation.

Apparent separation may be based in an underlying tension of existential fears, with ingrained thought and emotional patterns, as well as free will choice.

Constant felt connection is intrinsic but hidden. In actuality, nothing can be separate from Source. It can be experienced by relaxing patterns of tension in the psyche. Relaxation happens as attachments are released.

When each of us is in constant felt connection with the Source I Am, does the rightness of any perspective from a point of apparent separation have any relevance or importance?

I envision a self-generating, detectable, plasma light sphere filling and encompassing the individual human body — facilitating and supporting constant felt connection with AllThatIs and the functions of higher intelligence — as part of natural human evolution (with some help from free will choice.)

​All praise to the Source I Am, the all-inclusive One.

All gratitude for AllThatIs, as it is, and for WhatIsNot.

All that I Am, and ever will be, is Love for Love Itself.

All attachments released, I relax into the Source I Am.

All connection felt, the Source I Am acts through me.
