KEYS AND STORIES There are so many keys to freedom and wholeness because there are so many doors within the human story to unlock, and so many stories within stories. There is a difference in quality between being in life or living a story. One is spontaneous and responsive, alive, timeless. The other is simply occupying the human faculties, a quality flat and bound by the mental story line of the human perspective or the individual neural makeup. It is dualistic and never arrives. Everything other than 'ItIs'/'ItIsNot' becomes story. There will be story because we play a character. But the emphasis is on play, nothing wrong (only undesirable perhaps when one gets lost in their stories.) Living wholeness is living the paradox and thinking about life is bringing confusion. Life is an unfolding happening, nothing to do or control. 'It's not' to me is pure potentiality, the non-place of Being. What does that say? It says that in a vacuum with 'all that is' removed, there is still something that is not a thing. I call it potential, it is active and alive with presence and intelligence, energetic yet at rest. 'It is' manifests consciousness into form, even if it's through many levels or layers. Without human story it simply is and cannot be described or explained, but experienced. The human story cannot be escaped, but it certainly can be revised and re-written. In relationship, when we truly feel timeless together, it is always beyond the story. The story seemingly leads yet the truth is beyond. When we just are without story in the present we feel love together. Discernment of my stories is one key to be free and whole. Rather than emphasize detecting stories, returning my human mind to 'ItIs'/'ItIsNot' can clear the way for Source mind, the Unity of 'ItIs'/'ItIsNot', to flow through my life. Another story, and the words are not needed, but my story is more aware than before. I can only be out of story with no self-generated thought other than 'ItIs'/'ItIsNot'. If that's still story, it may be the closest I can come to union with the Unity while in human form. I'm certain long training is not needed in our present age. As the mind clears of stories, the body relaxes and body/mind are enabled to enter trust which are two more keys (relax and trust). Analyzing and categorizing 'ItIs'/'ItIsNot' goes deeper into story, and gives some entertainment but for what? Charts and systems, tools and techniques, sell books and workshops but cannot set a person free except within their story. The Divine, Source, and the Unity also are used as a big sales pitch in the new age community, a story to bring sales. So as often said it is simple but not easy. Society is designed around losing people in their stories. It doesn't require long training, but dedication and devotion (speaking only for myself). The devotion is to the Divine, Source, the Unity, whatever term a person chooses. The dedication for me at this time is discerning my stories, letting them go, and returning joyfully to nothing more than 'ItIs'/'ItIsNot'. WHAT MATTERS — Ā Ō Ā Sitting on a remote island in the Atlantic through winter is one way to soften hard edges. The island is green, cold and wet, and the housing is without heat. The nearest market is a 45 minute walk up a volcanic slope. Down the slope, a black sand beach was transformed overnight into a boulder field by stormy seas. The sounds of rocks crashing against each other could be heard through the night, so I assume they were being heaved upon the shore by the tremendous force of the waves. It's still a mystery to me. This experience is a highly supportive environment for finding inner strength, that is, felt connection with Source in the present moment. Yet for the nervous systems of Highly Sensitive Persons (HSP), it is not the calming or gentle environment needed to thrive. There are other ways to live in constant felt connection, and some do not require a testing environment, neither the intellectualizing or philosophizing of my past — which at this stage would be a relief. One way (only known at this writing from a YouTube video), I cannot write about until it is more experiential. Still, I am inspired to attract a lifestyle which expands upon the principles of creating syntropic food forests, as filtered through my interpretation. Syntropic farmers probably do not talk of consciousness or cosmic influences, but live the same in their work. When creating a syntropic food forest*, as I interpret from the video, the cooperative relationship is with nature — the consciousness within the soil and its microorganisms, the flora and fauna, the cosmic influences, and the whole ecosystem. When expanding the Unity in my daily life, my partnership is with the consciousness which recognizes the oneness of diverse forms of expression and their single source — the waves and medium of existence. From interactions with physicists, I understand waves to be a disturbance in a medium. Intuitively, I feel the medium of AllThatIs and IsNot to be an intelligent quantum 'plasma', the unified field, Source. Viewed metaphorically from one perspective — potential, waves and medium are as the sea and shore of existence. The sea of potential, 'It isn't', rolls in waves against the shores of 'It is', matter, congealed energy. 'It isn't' breaks into foam on the rocks of 'It is', misting the air with the presence of Being. The 'plasma' medium is both sea and shore, unformed potential and formed matter/energy, the force that animates and gives form to all, and the intelligence behind it. What matters is the oneness of matter and non-matter, and the human relationship with the Unity beyond the intellect and five senses. What matters is my daily exploration, discovery, recognition, realization, reflection, and 'zone' — expanding and integrating flow, presence and the Unity into human physicality, as I live and breathe. * A down-to-earth, well-made 25-minute YouTube video ('Incredible 1.5 acre Permaculture / Syntropic Food Forest With Over 250 Plant Species') by *Happen Films* conveys an attitude of partnership with life. Maybe this is the best I can do to respond to this. Our Garden Have you ever thought about the full spectrum of the gardening cycle that is taking place whenever you receive some of our Nurturing Acres produce? This spectrum actually begins in the winter while the soil lies barren and frozen under a blanket of snow. These first stirrings occur when I send nurturing thoughts to the garden. In anticipation, the earth receives the seeds of hope for spring. With the spring thaw, natural organic fertilizer starts to penetrate its nutrients deep within the soil. Hay from the surrounding pasture serves as mulch around the perennial plants, offering protection from the drying winds. Earthworms do their part as they continue to turn over the earth that is underneath the hay. Weeds give up their struggle so that the desired plants may take advantage of the additional space and nutrients. Spring brings warming temperatures and life-giving rains. Tilling the soil brings the microorganisms back to the surface, and the organic fertilizer is broken up and redistributed. This brings air back into the soil. This time of year makes me feel rejuvenated, and I reconnect with the earth. Each seed I plant is poised to carry out its genetic instructions and to grow into the plant it was created to be. The plant’s life forces go into action as they work in harmony with all that is around them. The environment gives spirit to the growing seeds and plants so that they might develop their own energies. I feel at peace and in harmony when working in the garden. The plant consciousness or elemental devas pervades the surrounding garden as we work as one to create expressions of love. It is truly a joint effort in the manifestation of creation. Forty-year-old spruce offer protection to the garden from the prevailing south summer winds. They also offer shelter for all of the songbirds that grace our home and garden. Birds share their daily songs with growing plants, enabling the plant stomas to open wider so they can absorb more nutrients. This symbiotic relationship results in larger, healthier plants. Part Two of Our Garden With intentional exchange, we share our garden with the wildlife. I even have an agreement with the local rabbit population. I have built brush piles around the garden and yard as protection from our dogs, other natural predators, and the weather. In return, they eat minimally from our garden, concentrating instead on the area’s native vegetation. As the bird life partakes of our berries, garden spiders spin their webs in our raspberry canes, helping to control the garden’s insect populations. Native bees and pollen-loving insects of the area visit the flowering plants, providing cross-pollination. As the summer unfolds, other native animals like pheasants, Red fox, raccoons, and opossums visit the garden. Underground, even the Eastern mole is busy turning the soil. This interaction continues throughout the summer. There is continuous interplay among the species of the local plant kingdom with the strongest plants seizing available garden space at any given time. After long hours of tilling, hoeing, and weeding, the desired plants flourish and take command of the developing garden. Vine crops such as pumpkins, squash, and melons minimize the weed population. Many garden plants work as companion crops. Certain plants can be grown side-by-side to help each other enhance growth and deter insects. The light-giving rays of the summer sun produce an energy exchange that is needed for plant growth and development. When all of life works in harmony, the outcome is an abundant harvest. Varying life cycles for different plants provides an on-going harvest, beginning with asparagus near the end of April. The harvest continues until late September and early October with the final gathering of pumpkins and winter squash. Our 10,000 square foot garden produces approximately fifty varieties of fruits and vegetables, yielding over 4,000 pounds of produce annually. We share our harvest with family, friends, and co-workers. Some extra produce is shared with the chickens and other native animals of the area. Any remaining yield is returned to the earth to recycle nutrients for another year. The garden produces abundantly and expresses life energy by the texture, size, and flavor of its fruits and vegetables. We experience great personal joy from working in and observing our garden and also from sharing our harvest. We believe it is a labor of love. MATTER — Ā Ō Ā What matters is the oneness of matter ('It is') and non-matter ('It isn't'), and the human interface with this Unity. The non-place of Being is in the 'It isn't', the state of potentiality. The medium of the interface between my human experience and the Unity could be called QUIP (Quantum Intelligent Plasma), or Source, or the One Being, or something else. Theoretical physicists call it the quantum field. ORIGINAL POST BELOW / REVISION AT TOP WHAT MATTERS — Ā Ō Ā This sentence summarizes the post: 'What matters is the oneness of matter and non-matter, and the human interface or relationship with the Unity beyond the intellect and five senses.' A down-to-earth, well-made 25-minute YouTube video ('Incredible 1.5 acre Permaculture / Syntropic Food Forest With Over 250 Plant Species') by *Happen Films* conveys an attitude of partnership with life. When creating a syntropic food forest, the cooperative relationship is with nature — the consciousness within the soil and its microorganisms, the flora and fauna, the cosmic influences, and the whole ecosystem. When expanding the Unity in my daily life, my partnership is with the quantum intelligent plasma which pervades all matter/non-matter and recognizes the oneness within diverse forms of expression. QUIP feels tangible and real to me, as the medium in which the One Being of the multi-universe and AllThatIs, and I, exist, with no separation between us at that foundational focus of consciousness. A quantum field, the term of theoretical physics, pictures in my mind as a linear plane. How do you like instead QUIP as an acronym for the quantum field (Quantum Intelligent Plasma)? That's semi-joking but more descriptive of what I sense. QUIP is a quip, not a theory built upon mathematical formulations and experimental proofs, but a postulation formed from intuitive feeling and a passion for exploration. Is the QUIP the 'it isn't', the potential, or does it fluctuate between it is and it isn't? A reference was made to the quantum field and potentiality as being the same. Since quantum refers to a unit of something, and the state of potentiality exists in a total vacuum, how could they be the same? I see them metaphorically as the sea and shore of existence. The sea of potential, 'It isn't', rolls in waves against the shores of matter, congealed energy. 'It isn't' breaks into foam on the rocks of 'It is', misting the air with the presence of Being. The QUIP is both sea and shore, and the suspension of earth in space, and the force that animates and gives form to all, and the intelligence behind it. The non-place of Being is in the 'It isn't', the state of potentiality. Presence is only accessible in the Present Moment, in the fluctuations between the 'It is' and 'It isn't'. A mind focused on the 'It is' blocks access to the Presence. 'What matters is the oneness of matter and non-matter, and the human interface or relationship with the Unity beyond the intellect and five senses.' What matters to me is exploration, discovery, recognition, realization, awareness expansion, and 'zone' — flow and presence integrated in daily life. * The photo by Gary is from the island of Faial in the Azores (Açores), Portugal.
