I am not a drop in the ocean, I am the entire ocean in a drop. ~ as Rumi said. There are at least four versions of me: 'I' as the human body, 'l' as the soul traveler, 'I' as a fractal of non-localized consciousness and 'I Am' as the cosmos of consciousness, the One Being. It is possible to realize all of these, and consciously shift my primary identity in the moment. The 'I Am' of me is not fully integrated in my human form, of course. I do not claim that the fullness of the godhead dwells in me bodily. However, in Oneness consciousness, there are no distinctions other than centers of awareness, between me as a localized fractal, and the non-localized One Being. This week, in a phone conversation, the 'other party' talked as a proponent of oneness, yet in the next breath about the fight between good and evil. 'Wait a minute', I thought, 'can the dualistic concept of good and evil exist in non-dualistic oneness?' Once again, Rumi expresses my feelings: Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a field. I’ll meet you there. When the soul lies down in that grass, the world is too full to talk about. ~ Jalāl ad-Dīn Muhammad Rūmī (Persian: جلالالدین محمد رومی), also known as Jalāl ad-Dīn Muhammad Balkhī (جلالالدین محمد بلخى), Mevlânâ/Mawlānā (مولانا, "our master"), Mevlevî/Mawlawī (مولوی, "my master"), and more popularly simply as Rumi. Geoffrey E. Stein There is both Dark And Light in the Universal “oneness “🦀 Gary In the non-localized consciousness of Oneness, there is neither light nor dark. Two different perspectives, between you and me, and that's okay. We are both seeing it from our localized viewpoints. If we were in Oneness consciousness, we would not be messaging, as in it there are no words, or concepts. Thank you for responding. Alex Gonzales Amen. How about a 5th version of "I" - "I am love." Love endures. Where your passion is, there your heart is; where your calling is, there your love is. Love is the energy of soul. Love is us. "Love...bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things." (1 Corinthians 13:7). Blessed be us all. 🙏💟🔥🌈 Gary So true. In the meditative journey which inspired this post, the soul traveler knows itself as Love. 1 Corinthians 13 is a passage close to the hearts of my wife and me. May I reprint your comment on the Whole Human site?
