As the greater forces of life move into a balancing of light and dark energies, may we also find a greater balance of our own swirling energies in this time of great change....

Taking this opportunity to open to the great metamorphosis of consciousness that is awaiting us. Like the caterpillar who has no idea that it will become a butterfly, it just keeps munching, and munching until it can't munch any more....humanity has come to that place now. All that we knew as life, has halted, and we are in the bardos of the mystery of what's next. Like the caterpillar that doesn't know what to do from a mind perspective, the imaginal cells within his body begin to activate, bringing the potential energy of metamorphosis allowing us to become something greater than what could even be imagined, and the caterpillar begins to cocoon. So here we being called into that great cocoon. To draw inward and invite higher knowledge and wisdom to come and inform our being, to catalyze the metamorphosis that is needed to give us the wings we need to fly.

A key aspect to this metamorphosis, is to be able to use our judgement and discernment to understand what is true, and what is false. Some may feel this is the time of the apocalypse, foretelling doom, and destruction. Yet, the true meaning of the word "Apocalypse" (? ????????) is a Greek word meaning "revelation", "an unveiling or unfolding of things not previously known and which could not be known apart from the unveiling". And truly we are seeing this in so many ways. The climate crises, and industrial pollution issues that our leaders have claimed to not be able to take strong action on are already seeing great change through this global shutdown of industry. The canals in Venice are flowing clear and clean. People can see the sky in Wuhan China. These are revelations that couldn't be seen without this kind of situation. What other revelations may be opening to us? May we open our minds to receive insight and guidance, and higher truth.

Our prayer that comes with these words is that we find our personal self-empowerment, a remembering of our bodies own amazing ability to ward off pathogens, that we use this crisis as an opportunity to learn how to take better care of ourselves, to support our health and vitality through our actions, to remember our belonging to this greater ecosystem, that we have evolved, and adapted to for millennia. To return to the plants who have always been there to help us stay healthy, and that support us when we are sick. To recognize what we need to do to create a more resilient culture, more dependable food systems, and how to take responsibility for ourselves, and our lives. May we find ways to extract ourselves from the fear and the propaganda, and use this great opportunity to create a cocoon around ourselves, and our families, and let our imaginal cells envision the metamorphosis of culture that our human family is calling in to bring us back into harmony, back into connection with our true selves, with life and all it's cycles which also include death. Something is dying here because dying is part of life. And I'm not just referring to people but systems, and ways of thinking, and quite possible reality as we once knew it. Let us move with faith and courage into this Mystery, trusting the great Love of Creation and all the benevolent energies of life. As for ourselves, we too will be entering the cocoon, and, we look forward to meeting you in the fields of consciousness, spiraling on the updrafts of our common dream for peace, liberation and happiness for all beings. See you on the other side...
