COMMENTS ON 'FULL-FED FOR ASCENSION' POST Bethany Gosa-Holder I find your words very inspiring. The way you speak of "starflakes" I just love and seeing their fall into the river also as ascension I can completely identify with. I agree that our individual experience/perception is what ascension is about and I personally have a strange affinity for my shadow self for I believe the whole experience, dark and light, that counts but I am experiencing full force the importance of balance in all things for the time I spent out of balance caused a grave illness to grow. Thankfully I have beaten the cancer and now just have to heal the damage it caused. Your words bring me back to what I have been meditating on and what has been put into my awareness allot lately which is the universal energy shape of the torus. In the shape of the torus all points can be connected to one another. I believe when we are fully awake and ascended we can tap into any experience anywhere and be able to see the whole picture, the whole of ourselves in every dimension as I Am connected to all of the energy of the universe. Thank you for this post and the picture with it as well for I find it very encouraging and it has given me a new perspective to contemplate as I strive to stay in prayer and meditation. Sandy Penny Love your analogy’s re water finding it’s own level and beauty in different states but I want to know who asks the caterpillar if it wants to be a butterfly? Does it have free will? Do we have free will? Do we agree to come to earth and through the family that births us? Everything responds to love and “vibration” of a person. I think we can raise our vibration by connecting to Source/Creator god through meditating in silence and in nature and tapping into our circadian rhythm’s. Btw happy birthday Gary from Scotland UK. Gary Ah, thoughtful questions. Whatever and wherever I write or respond, it is true for me in that moment and can change in the next. It is continual exploration and discovery. You asked, '....who asks the caterpillar if it wants to be a butterfly? Does it have free will? Do we have free will' G - There is a distinction between nature and humans. Biologically we are part of nature, but as developing psycho-spiritual beings we are unique on earth amongst nature. Not superior, but having a set-apart origin and destiny. Free will is endlessly debated. Yes, humans have free will choices which a caterpillar 🐛 does not. The caterpillar can only follow the programming of its design. Human free will is not unlimited. It is interwoven with many factors. I can choose to do my inner work as the post describes but cannot determine the outcome. Often I cannot control my environment and circumstances but always I can exercise a degree of choice in my responses. That's not easy at times, as in my case, the neurology of Asperger's, misophonia and HSP strongly dictates my reactions/responses with what seems to be automatic behavior. However, with honest, diligent inner work I can effect changes. In the analogy of the post, I see correspondences between the full-fed state of the caterpillar and the psychospiritual readiness of the human, before metamorphosis and ascension. Also, in the dissolution of the caterpillar into liquid within the cocoon/chrysalis and the yielded state of the human ego to its higher self or Source aspect before transformation. In the caterpillar it is pre-programmed. In the human, the choice for yielding comes from within. You ask, 'Do we agree to come to earth and through the family that births us?' G - I can prove nothing, and do not try to impose my views on others. So I can only say what is true for me, in this moment. My deep knowing tells me I agreed to come to earth, and made choices as a pre-incarnate soul where and when and through whom to be born. The state from which those choices are made cannot be defined from the incarnate state, but in general it is non-linear so time does not exist there as it does here. I feel pre-incarnate beings are not necessarily all-knowing, and it may be that from there, earth life is as mysterious to 'them' as 'they' are to us. We each have only a vague sense of each other, with some exceptions. Nevertheless, the strong sense my my pre-incarnate choices has remained with me over many years. Fifty earth cycles around the sun ago, as a 17 year old, I wrote prose expressing that very thing... making the choice to be born. Again, I am not saying it is true of everyone. You wrote, 'Everything responds to love and “vibration” of a person. I think we can raise our vibration by connecting to Source/Creator god through meditating in silence and in nature and tapping into our circadian rhythm’s.' G - Yes, that is so. I would extend that to say from my experience I raise my vibration and connect with my Source aspect also by examining the contents of my mind throughout the day, in the light of expanding awareness. Thank you so much for writing. Your questions stimulate my response, and that is helpful to my exploration and discovery. May I add your comment to my post? Sandy Penny Thank you so much for this amazing response. It resonates very much with me and of course you may post it, copy it anywhere. I consider everything I write on FB to be shareable as, like you, it is only my thoughts at the moment of writing. I will add I think the spiritual world, spiritual entities arrange “syncing events/path crossing” to aid us and them with the family we agree/arrange to be born into on Mother Earth (who I think is an actual being, who is busy trying to organise humans to “raise their game” as we have already 9 times managed to obliterate ourselves on other earths (that is a long story that I got through a talk by John Lamb Lash who has studied lots of cultures, myths and legends, creation stories etc). You may want to look him up on the Internet. ***** This prose was written for Myriad, the literary magazine of FCHS (Fort Collins High School) in 1971. THE UNIVERSE IS YOU A gentle voice comes to me, saying: “You are leaving your home, Becoming human so that you may Experience & learn & advance. The memory of the paradise you have dwelt in will be removed; otherwise you could not bear the pain and sorrow of life on earth. You will forget your true identity, believing yourself to be a physical being. The parents you have chosen will feed you, clothe you, protect you and give you love. Be not deceived by those who will try to convince you that life on earth is the important, the only, or that you must secure yourself to their beliefs in order to be 'saved.' They have been misled. Open your mind to all things: experience the many paths, always do your best, and you may one day be granted Enlightenment and realize that you have the life of Buddha, the life of Krishna, the life of Baha ‘u’ llah, the life of Christ within you. Then you will be freed from the bonds of the flesh, the bonds of rebirth, of space and time.” The way is before me, i will my molecules to slow their vibration, and hover above my mother-to-be. She is sitting in a chair, knitting. i slip inside her and enter her womb, the unborn fetus, now my body. The woman feels a movement of life within her, and she smiles. * * * * * * * * https://www.wholehuman.emanatepresence.com/blog/caterpillar 'Caterpillar of Papilio Machaon' and 'Papilio Machaon' photos found on Wikipedia. FROM THE 'SPIRITUAL AWAKENING, SOCIAL CHANGE, AND SELF-HELP' FACEBOOK GROUP
Austin Patrick Hello everyone! Thank you all for joining this group. We provide a welcoming space for discussion around spirituality, politics, and entrepreneurship. These fields are starting to intertwine more than ever, and the vision of Human Ideals, our spiritual activism movement, takes full advantage of this shift. To start off, go ahead and introduce yourselves in this group. Take some time to then answer the following questions. 1) What inspired you to start the spiritual path? 2) What is the most pressing political issue in the world today, and why? 3) What insights from your practice or business will you use to solve this issue, and how will this change people's current misconceptions around it? Lastly, we'd love to know your thoughts on our full mission statement. This year, we partnered with the University of Southern California's Interfaith Council to create a detailed introduction video. Watch as much of it as you can and comment below! In the coming weeks, we'll be hosting Zoom sessions with you guys to carry this mission forward. Every Saturday, 5:30 pm PST seems to be a good time, but if not, let us know what time works best for you. Students from USC will be joining us in the next few months. We hope to build a team of activists where they and the rest of you guys can work together. Gary 1) What inspired you to start the spiritual path? I was drawn to the mystical in childhood. Was a seeker of the 'highest truth' through teens. 2) What is the most pressing political issue in the world today, and why? The social political system is designed as a pyramid of power, with the few at the top attempting to rule those below them (in their minds). But the ones at the top are not the main problem -- which is all below who refuse to take on their own power as sovereign beings. The most pressing issue is the under-development of the individual. 3) What insights from your practice or business will you use to solve this issue, and how will this change people's current misconceptions around it? First I work on myself by examining the contents of my mind in the light of expanding awareness. I post to several groups in this genre, sharing my experiences, insights and realizations. I will submit my first post to this group today. Gary I'd love to exchange thoughts on the Human Ideals vision. Initially, I feel it needs to be simplified and reduced to minimum verbiage at least as an introduction. It feels too wordy and complicated to attract my attention. I have the same problem in my writing, which is often too wordy and abstract conceptual. The Human Ideals introduction could be linked to more details for those who want to go deeper. As we are all in various stages of psychospiritual development, there will be those who benefit from teachings and those who are beyond teachings. I'd like to address those who are already well on their way to being sovereign individuals, knowing who they are and guided by their own inner resources -- and those who are being called to that path.
