Gary It's like asking, what is meant by love? In our society, the same word can mean sex, desire, friendship, intimate relationship, or the love of God, love for love itself. The ancient Greeks had at least eight different words for different types of love, from Eros to Agape. That to me is the essence of spiritual awakening. My ultimate is when I know the True Self, the cosmos of consciousness, living through me. Of course, then I don't talk about it, because in that place there are no words. " That to me is a false awakening, it only grows knowledge of an illusion within an illusion. I went through a period of conspiracy theory, and it had no crossover, no overlap, with true spiritual awakening ~ unless, in the process, there are heart openings, shifts from hatred and fear to compassion, or otherwise moving *through* ideologies which bind and restrict. The false awakening can serve as a stepping stone. You wrote: "Provided these are both true, what is the overlap? I am exploring these questions with you as I write. On soul journeys, I travel from localized consciousness to non-localized consciousness. The latter, including the matrix of society, conspiracy theory, and an activism of sovereignty, is enacted within localized consciousness. It seems at times to be the antithesis (false replacement) of spiritual awakening. Those who live from "Divine consciousness within, and are truly elevated, self-aware, and achieving meditation of great heights" enter non-localized consciousness. The following two paragraphs are from a soul journey script, which word pictures the movement into non-localized consciousness, where discussion of awakening does not, can not, exist: Tapping my staff on the ground, I am transported, in my travel sphere, out of the BUBBLING WELLS, into non-local consciousness, the VOID. When the soul lies down in this grass, the world is too full to talk about. There are no words. No concepts. No ideas. No emotions. No time. No space. No death. No separation. Though inexpressible, it is a state of pre-existence. The Is ness, of Here and Now. The immensely powerful Presence, of a Great Being. The One Being, is me. We are love, for love itself. We are One.
