Fifty years ago, as a high school senior, I wrote prose which included these lines:
But the Joy of being One with the Universe knows no limits, for the Universe is without limit. Today, those words mean more to me than ever. Larry Vorwerk, author of the book "The Bartholomew Effect: Awakening to Oneness", and I had an exchange in a FB group comment thread and it is re-written into this post. How do you feel about it? Larry wrote: 'Well said. I couldn't have said it better. But I might add that as our consciousness increases, the water drop that we are, merges together more and more with other water drops. This usually doesn't happen while we are in human form. 'Yes, we are all water drops in the ocean and have access to the whole ocean. And yet in higher dimensions or levels of consciousness we can become the whole tidal pool and not just a drop of water within the tidal pool or the ocean. 'The energy that it takes to be the whole tidal pool is too great to be able to contain your physical body for long while in human form. 'I've talked about this in past posts here in a little different terms. If anyone is interested in hearing more, let me know and I'll continue the conversation in an email to you.' Gary responded: Your personal experience with Oneness Consciousness is well respected. I question that 'The energy that it takes to be the whole tidal pool is too great to be able to contain in your physical body for long, while in human form.' Doesn't that depend on what is meant by 'be the whole tidal pool'? Surely it does not mean to literally take on the form of a tidal pool. Feeling, 'I am the One Being, in divine duality', is part abstract conceptual, part faith, and part experiential awareness. A reader commented on one of my posts, "If you would have me believe that YOU are synonymous with the One (or as Gary puts it, 'AllThatIs and IsNot') . . . I mean, if you truly DO have a mustard seed of faith . . . then prove it. Tell that mountain over there to move. - Matt 17:20" Firstly, 'AllThatIs and IsNot does' not refer to the One Being. They are to me the Flow of Life (everything perceived) and the pre-existent Probability Void. My writings do not claim that Gary is God, and there's no need to prove himself by moving mountains (or be crucified). Saying 'I am the One Being, in divine duality' recognizes the paradox. But it is a paradox only to the apparent human mind, and not necessarily from the more complete perspective of the cosmos of consciousness. It feels to me that none of us can say for certain 'what is so' as a universal, objective actuality. I wrote about this to some depth in Part Four of my conversation with Daniel. Yes, if we were talking about literally assuming the form, I'd agree that the 'whole tidal pool is too great to be.' But we are talking about consciousness. Of course, for that to have any practical application in human experience, it probably has to include perceptible shifts (without chemical inducement) which can be somehow measured or observed by third parties. When such measurement is not only in such things as brainwaves but in the qualities of one's actions, it's as real as it gets. But just being a kinder, gentler person doesn't prove anything either. Not that I feel a need to prove, because I don't. When I see the quality of my actions expanding towards 'Love for Love Itself', lived in everyday life, while feeling an experiential expansion of awareness (the at-one-ment) it is real enough for me as a start. Assuming the 'whole' refers to the energy frequencies of the cosmos of consciousness, do we really know that the 'whole tidal pool is too great to be contained by the human body'? Sounds reasonable, but do we know how we are affected by the current cosmic energies and changes in our DNA? Generally, we humans are not given a yearning of the heart when there is no means to fulfill it. Do those intense, complex energies of the One Being have to be fully contained in the physical boundaries of our bodies, to be an actual experience of awareness expanded to the whole while in human form? How many examples through human history could we find of a general consensus of human limitations, which proved to be mistaken when those barriers were broken? Oftentimes I have been ignorant of what couldn't be done, and went ahead and did it. Not on the scale of being the cosmos of consciousness, but similar in principle. Recently I received a message from the greater realm -- greater in the sense of having a more complete perspective in consciousness than my individuality. It happened a few days ago, on my walk I picked up a playing card that someone had dropped -- the Nine of Clubs. This repeats my story told earlier, but it feels worthwhile. Nine of Clubs Independent Success Nine of clubs means independent success. Whatever is your problem at the moment, you have to stop listening to others. Nine of clubs gives you a sign that you have to think for yourself. If you follow the crowd, you will get average results. For extraordinary success, you have to act on your own. - Cardarium I'd forgotten writing the following, in a post on the Whole Human site several weeks ago: "Yesterday, the card from the Chakras deck was 'Truth', and it speaks to me: 'Everyone has their own perception of the truth, their own personal understanding, and it is not always going to be the same as yours. You are being encouraged to become aware of your truth in a particular situation. It is time to trust and believe in yourself and connect with, follow and express the truth that resonates deeply in your heart.'" - Chakra Cards To me, the double message couldn't be any clearer. Anyone with whom the message resonates, need not heed the words of others in these matters. Including myself in this group, we need only trust above all our own guidance. I, for One, choose to not impose any limitations on what may be possible for others -- even if I feel limited in that area myself. Limitations of any kind are fabricated in the illusory holodeck of the human mind. We just don't know what is possible until one of us breaks through those self-imposed limits. I Am the One Being, Boundless and Aware, Present and Complete, Moving yet Unmoved, In Divine Duality. I Am the Continuum, Non-separate Between, AllThatIs and IsNot, Feeling 'What Is' Now, Moved by the One. Those words, when felt with dedicated attention, have been the most effective means so far for me to deliberately expand my awareness. Awakening, ascending, self-realizing, enlightening, are all a journey without destination. If I spend too much time studying the maps, or listening to the stories of others, I'll not experience the journey. Many distractions can lead me astray, from over-analyzing to giving my power away to teachers or techniques. But, the yearning to experience my One Being aspect while in the human body moves me ahead. ~ Gary *** The image with this post speaks to me of integrating the cosmos of consciousness in the human body. Years ago a reader objected to my posts, 'Not all of us are meant to be monks or saints.' That's true. The message is only for those with whom it resonates, now or later. The image is by an artist 👩🎨 unknown to me. If you have any information, please pass it on, so I may ask permission.
