What do sleep headphones have to do with being a whole human?

I have been using them to play audio sessions which mix music with brainwave entrainment and my spoken affirmations of the 9 elements of empowerment from within. It is all about personal evolution.

So far, it is promising. I feel a difference in my daily life.

​A quest for the perfect headband/headphone led me to test several brands.

My hat size is 8 and every headband was too tight for me until the last.

Headbands with built-in speakers are a great idea, but all I tested were too warming and the speakers uncomfortable for side sleeping.

Then I came to the MUSS headband headphones.  This headband is also too tight for me and speakers are hard to position and they slide around. In addition, the sound is muffled when it is within the headband lining.

The speakers themselves are fantastic. Great sound when held directly on the ears, and flat and soft enough to lay on. Fortunately Muss sells the speakers separately from their headband.

The ultimate headband/headphone would be one comfortable enough to wear all day and all night if need be. I listen to audio sessions with brainwave entrainment to help with medical issues (tinnitus and misophonia) and for my recorded affirmations of the 9 elements of empowerment.

Okay, an idea. Let's first find a super comfortable headband and slide the MUSS speakers (sold separately) under the band right into place directly on my ears.

Yes! I found an almost workable combination. The 'EasYoung Headbands for men' are cool and super comfortable and the MUSS speakers are held in place by the band.

Well, it is the closest workable solution, but not great. I need a band which is large enough for my head and wide enough at the ears to hold the speakers. The EasYoung band narrows at the back and over time it also becomes too tight. Ideally, the band has a lining or pockets for the speakers.

There is no rest from the quest, yet. My ideal is a headband-headphone which is one piece and can be put on and taken off like a hat. Not wireless, but short wires. Maybe the MP3 player hangs in the back, in a pocket. The experiment continues.

Currently custom-made headband headphones are being prototyped to my specifications.
