COMMENTS I 'love' the expansion of perspective, making it more complete, which happens when readers contribute their points of view. Recently, I posted the question, 'What makes magic black or white?' Following are some of the insights contributed. As a matter of personal policy and respect, I ask every comment author for permission to repost. If I missed something, please let me know. From those comment insights, new questions arise: 'What is the measure of one's level of consciousness?' That is, what is the evidence of the type of consciousness a person is operating from?' And, 'What are the practical applications of Oneness consciousness?' Comments on 'what makes magic black or white?' -- Creigory Wright I'm none too familiar with sorcery, though it has remained an interest, like many, that I haven't pursued to much degree. But I will say at least that the analytical mind does have its place, like any tool. It serves me best when regularly honed and kept within arms reach. I agree that constant analysis and evaluation should not be your daily lens though. I've found fresh inspiration and insight in this. Thanks 🖤 Deva Pragyan III The fewer the words The stronger the magic Ashley Rusnak I haven’t read this post yet but the story of Adam and Eve always reminds me of the demonization of women and women’s intuition since the beginning of time. Gary Smith You might enjoy the blog post, which points out that the story has another meaning altogether. Alex Gonzales Love is magic without label but light that is shining in our heart. Life hurts; but love carries us through. Life teaches; and love endures the lessons of sorrow and joy, of pain and peace, of sickness and health, of anything and everything in life. Love quenches fear; for love is the living water of soul. Blessed be us all. 🙏💟🔥🌈 Thomas Farnsworth I think you nailed it with the failsafe. Problem with true self end part of your post is how would you know 110% of the time you are one and connected? What I mean is at some point, there would have to be a defining, unwavering and undeniable event take place to you publicly, so that everyone may witness the manifestation or change of the true self, and incorporate the identity of you to it. Otherwise, its a he said she said in terms of "white" and "black" and then that distinction of perspective lay solely with the observer. Gary Smith Yes, what is the measure of whether an action is from the True Self, or from the ego mind -- non-localized (Oneness) or localized (separated) consciousness. Even if a person thinks they know their own heart and intent, it easily gets muddled. I may think I acted from pure intent, until I examine my motives more closely. At this point, I can not give a definitive answer. Projecting ahead, it may become possible to know the source of ones actions by recognizing the energy frequency. We do that now, to some extent and degree of accuracy, when we say for example, 'that felt high vibe or low vibe'. One of my earlier posts refers to an under-developed innate human sense, an intuitive, connective feeling that is beyond anything we as a whole have yet experienced. The coined term 'meta-feeling' comes to mind. Some have touched on it, I believe, in the genuine oneness experience, where there is no 'other.' My post on Feeling says, 'There is a feeling in certain sensitively created pieces of art or music, or masterfully penned poetry (a la Rumi), over which the sensitive viewer, reader or listener can sometimes connect and be deeply touched. That type of intuitive feeling (distinct from gut feeling or emotional feeling), well cultivated, is the medium of the language of the cosmos of consciousness, the One Being, the True Self, who and what I most intimately am.' The more objective evidence of its actuality may be like you said, over an undeniable public event -- or something more low key, like emanating a presence which many acknowledge. Justin Vanderwende white magick is anything used to dissolve the sense of personal identity with the infinite spirit, black magic is anything used to strengthen the sense of personal identity with the world and the universe of time and space. Gary Smith Justin, that makes a lot of sense to me. May I reprint your comment on the Whole Human blog? Andrew Pierce To me its like star wars and the force. But ultimately it is based on a person's intention. A selfish personal gain that does nothing for the collective or one that loves and shows compassion towards others... Makes me want to also get out a thesaurus 🤣 Gary Smith The Star Wars mythology does serve to make the mystical more popular and understandable. There, wasn't the primary difference between the Force as Light or Dark based on whether the user acted from Love or Hate? But, the story still separates the Force from the characters. And, it separates the Force into two distinct sides, the Light side and the Dark side. In my experience, the distinctions are between non-localized (Oneness) Consciousness and localized (separated) consciousness. In Oneness there are no distinctions, but in localized there are. Oneness, the Void, somewhat correlates to the Force, especially as they are ever-present and bind all together. In localized consciousness, there is free will choice, which can serve either the separated end of the spectrum, or the non-separated. Hatred is at the far end of separated, while 'Love for Love itself' is at the far end of non-separated, or Oneness. Individual human awareness is typically somewhere in between, although human history is replete with actions from the separated, hatred end of the spectrum. I feel it is possible for the individual to act as one with the cosmos of consciousness, when there is surrender to the True Self. Just some thoughts. Bobby Ginnings White reflects all visible wavelengths and black absorbs all visible wavelengths. Perhaps some use this to correlate black magic with self absorption with the identification to an illusory self, ego, rather than ones true self, infinite consciousness. The labeling of events or conditions as good or bad tends to be done from an egotistical perspective. Charles Zotter Just like you inherently know the difference between right and wrong you know the difference between black and white majik and do not need a book or esoteric manuscript to show you so. So much of Truth and Light is within each and every one of us to recognize and ancient books and scrolls sometimes just muddy the waters and if you depend too much on that old stuff then you don't have much confidence in your own inner guidance. I perform majik on a routine basis as a manner in which I transmute darkness into light which is not a physical ordeal but rather on a spiritual, energetic level. Gregory Calfee Personally I equate white magic with the knowledge of science and technology that empowers a man, and black magic with the knowledge to deceive, weaken, and control a man. Gary Smith Thank you for sharing your perspective. May I add it to my post on the Whole Human blog? Leonna Love-Lee Hmmmm...i see alot of words...where is the heart?..🕵👁 Gary Smith Would you help me understand how you mean this? Leonna Love-Lee Absolutely...When I read words I feel out the heart...Where is the heart of magick in your opinion?..🧐😉 Gary Smith As I understand, when spelled 'Magick', it generally refers to the ego-centric type. I have not found heart in such. When spelled 'magic', and motivated by love for love itself, and depending on the context, it can be full of heart. As a teen, my metaphysical books were my most prized possessions. I thought, 'if the world goes down, I could live in a cave with my books, and be okay.' I had all the classics, the Urantia book, Cosmic Consciousness, the Impersonal Life. And, 'Magick' by Aleister Crowley. But even at 17, something did not feel well to me about Magick. After every reading I felt a need to take a shower. Finally, I burned the book in the fireplace. Now 67, I still reject that type of Magick for my life. I have met people who insist that Crowley's Magick has heart love, but I haven't seen it. Leonna Love-Lee Forgive me...sometimes things are not immediately apparent to my brain...I love your attitude by the way...Bravo Brother...exactly what I was going for!!! And our journey continues onward and upward always!!!💙💙💙💎 Gary Smith ❤️ Jenni Martino Hmmm....ask yourself if a rainbow is a rainbow without the whole color spectrum That is the Statue of Liberty. Does liberty mean, people use very polarized energy and hope the new president brings unity. The true power is with the humans of the U.S.. That type of energy shown in the pic is nothing else what Trump did. So the anti Trump people show emotional impulsive behavior . Maybe President Trump is simply a mirror how divided most people are. Love in oneself leads to expanding awareness and in that expansion is the solution for humanities next move. In liberation everybody has to be sovereign within first. In the long run that type of energy nurtures violence and war.🙏
