1. Quit overreacting. Not everything deserves your attention. Not every provocation deserves a reaction. You must be able to give just the right amount of energy and emotion that a situation deserves. 2. Stop over-consuming. Food: eat only to satisfy hunger, not to relieve stress. Media: prioritize education over entertainment in your feed. Books: read to gain hindsight, but introspect to gain insight and write to gain foresight. 3. Avoid excessive sharing. Having stoic control over one's words is a hallmark of intelligence. Measure your words. Be careful what you share and, more importantly, with whom you share. 4. Stop overthinking. Judging others, regretting the past, or worrying about the future only simulates mental stress. You're the watchman of your mind. Guard it against negative thoughts. Think for yourself judiciously, think of others compassionately. 5. Stop overindulging. Unrestrained pleasure-seeking will: - Weaken your senses - Weaken your intelligence - Make you a slave to your hormones. While indulging in the pleasures of life, avoid extremity and master moderation. This is the peak of wisdom. Life becomes easier when you become a master of the mental models of humans. Work on Mental Models: ▪️ learn big ideas ▪️ practice critical thinking ▪️ strengthen your vision and leverage Think differently. NOTE from Gary: A suggested number 6 is: 6. Invite the collaboration of super-consciousness, which is an aspect of you, into your life. Commune with the Eternal Flame, the Source I Am, and be guided from that more complete perspective. A way to integrate this is with the ENDgame: Evolving Awareness by Emanate Presence. https://www.wholehuman.emanatepresence.com/end.html
