You cannot serve God and mammon [money, possessions, fame, status, or whatever is valued more than the Lord]. - Matthew 6:24 Amplified Bible Revised But first and most essentially seek (aim with primary focus towards) the Unity and Harmony of Source — serve Unconditional Love and surrender to the Divine Light — and all material things needed for your life will be given to you also. - Matthew 6:33 I am Source, having a human experience. I surrender to Unconditional Love. I serve the Divine Light. *** This is from discussion group comment threads. Pundit Thanaracht Actually , it's you in the version of "observer" meaning that you're acting like watching movie. You are there watching/knowing all of the story but you don't consume any emotion. You keep on knowing/learning everything happening in that moment. You don't play any role but let it be the way it is. This sounds simple but it's difficult that you need to keep yourself neutral all the time in that state. Am I right? Pls give me advice. Gary This is a great question to ponder. In my experience, yes it is simple but challenging. Why? Perhaps because a person's identity becomes so entrenched in the collective version of who and what we are. I am the One Being, in divine duality and this is a knowing. Retaining that view through situations which trigger my emotions is something else. I am here to give my One Being aspect an experience of individuality, so anything I do or don't do with my life fulfills my purpose from the eternal Observer's perspective. Exploring your comment, it seems that as a human, I have a bio-chemical nature as well as electro-magnetic and quantum spiritual. When overly focused on the sensory experiential, my center of awareness may be stuck in the biochemical. When that center expands to borderless Observer, I may become ungrounded and ineffective in the practical world. My aim is balance, like the master kayaker I filmed, who was gracefully navigating whitewater rapids which wrapped others around river boulders. The other kayakers were young, strong, athletic, and fighting the River. The master was an older man, very calm, poised, and at ease. He was observing and experiencing in balance -- being in the Flow/being the Flow, being one with the River. Gary How does one measure their conscious connection with Source, and their degree of inner knowing? Emilie Deibler Spear Is there a difference? I’ll share an impression that’s coming through. Let me know if I didn’t understand the question. ☺️ In my experience when I am connected with Source consciously, Knowing IS. There’s no sense of separation. I AM that I AM. When my consciousness of the connection slips, I can see my mind trying to take over with its intellect (as if it knows it all. 🤣). The clue is the intellectual mind has a nature of wanting to ‘do’, ‘control’, etc in a limited contracted way. Inner Knowing feels different, it’s expansive, creative and a sense of Being, as all is well within the Divine Plan - interconnected, whole, complete Union. Gary Beautiful response. Underlying inter-connection is a given. Conscious connection with Source or oneness consciousness is something else, yes? What I meant to ask is how can one know their degree of real conscious connection -- what are the measures? Yes, I feel the difference between a contracted state and an expansive one, especially at their extremes. In between, through the day, when asking myself how I feel, the honest answer is 'I don't know.' On a scale of 1 -10, I'm a five. For me, a more definitive measure than my feelings is the quality of my daily actions, and especially in my response or reaction towards emotional triggers. That tells me how well the Source connection is integrated into my body/mind. If I tell someone I love them, and feel love in my heart, but the next moment am triggered by their behavior and escalate into anger, what does that say about my conscious connection with Source, which is constant unconditional Love? Let alone the depth of my human love. As complex beings, having a bio-chemical nature as well as electro-magnetic and quantum spiritual, living in distortions of various kinds, it is so easy to fool ourselves into believing we are attuned to Source. Speaking for myself, I have often been self-deceived and ego inflated. It's not that measuring is needed or useful. Comparison generally is not, especially in spiritual matters. Having a way to keep my self view more real, that could be helpful.
