When my life is in chaos (which it often is with our daughters and their mental incapacities) I try to find the predictable order that inevitably reveals itself. It's always there. Thank you for your post and blog. In the last 3 weeks my soul woke up to its wholeness. Nobody knows what I’m talking about, but everything has shifted inside.

My diet my thinking.. I’m very in touch with my emotions, my understanding, my speech (the other day I wrote a lengthy poem to my wife as a text to explain something deeper I couldn’t otherwise do and it poured from me as if from nowhere.)

I sleep and eat very little now and no effort of mine can convince me that I want either of these things (which absolutely wasn’t true just a few weeks ago).

I feel elated on one hand and alienated on another… it’s not that people don’t just understand, but they don’t even WANT to hear me. Almost like it pains them to hear.

I’m 33 and I have been seeking all my life and from as many relevant sources as to which I’d resonate. I feel assured and I haven’t known fear since then… but my energies can be a bit much at times (especially by others)

I have an inner guide as I am now connected to my spirit and my will. But I have more questions than anything and I’d really love some direct contact with anyone in regards to this. However the only people I have to bounce this information off of is you people from various groups I’ve recently joined…but I have never been in contact with aliens nor have seen a ufo. I have no skills toward this in the sense of psychic or astral abilities.

​All I have is sounds in the darkness, and in this way feel as though I’m watching you all explain in various ways the summation of my experience. This is the realest experience of my life and simultaneous unreal to anything real in my life as I can’t find anyone but strangers who’ve had experienced anything similar.

This is such a juicy post and something I could talk for days on 🥰. Our Earth is ascending...everything is ascending in our entire universe. This is a natural cycle, previously unsuccessful for many reasons...but now guaranteed for those who choose to follow the ascension route in this ascension cycle. GS - My FB love of your comment is a response to the passion and level of understanding you put into it. Not that I agree or resonate with all of what you wrote. I do agree that whether or not the earth ascends in some way as many believe, it is not a given that all who are expecting to ascend (at least in the way I envision) will.

Gaia, Mother Earth started out as a molten hot sphere. It cooled and formed an atmosphere. The rains came and filled the oceans and life eventually started. Since then the earth gave life to flora and fauna in a billion different ways. The planet was bountiful, healthy and good.

MP - Sadly, I do not feel that the world and humankind is ascending. I think we are being given a serious wakeup call. A warning and example of how the strongest of all can be humbled. If we just gave thought as to how simple this pandemic has wreaked havoc throughout the world and all of its people, we may start to understand the need for radical change.

MP - I fear far too many short sighted, self important leaders are blind to the real and present dangers we have manufactured and witnessed. Unless we change, more is yet to come.

GS - Yes, I see a division taking place. Over-simplified, those who serve self will bear the consequences of their actions -- greed, etc. Those who truly serve Love may actually ascend, and live in a higher density/dimension still on this planet. I choose to believe it.

GS - Thank you for the clarification. I didn't mean my question to sound as it did, either. We are on the same page, I believe. As I see it, even when man uses technology to modify what Nature would do on its own, the water is still finding its own level in hydroponics or the Archimedes screw. Those mechanisms cause water to overcome its tendency to follow the pull of gravity but even in Nature, water is pulled upwards to nourish plants and trees.

MP - I followed it up with how mankind overcomes. Although I am a spiritual person, I do not affiliate with any specific religious group.

GS - Yes, we are on the same page.

MP - I am an individual with an individual connection to a realm where intelligence and love are far beyond our primitive minds.

From my perspective,,for the most part I don't think there is any dispute amongst the awakened community of the fact that Mother Earth and humanity is ascending. The only ones without enough awareness to this fact might have a word to say about it and or dispute what we know as fact,,as they are not yet awakened. Additionally,,humanity's scientific knowledge level is completely based on intentionally limited and controlled intellectual capacity,,as are school text books,,and so forth.

To me, there are no awakened people, only awakening.

I post in many groups within the awakening community and encounter much confusion and uncertainty about the widely discussed ascension.

Yes, the earth is ascending, but what does that mean? Some of the awakening ones might says frequencies are raising. Can that be measured?

It doesn't have to be measured, for me, as I have an inner knowing and am content to leave it in general terms. Whether raising or not, I feel frequencies are changing. How it all plays out is largely a mystery. I can only watch to see what emerges.

Ascension implies upward movement. I don't think that is accurate, literally. But we can only use the language we have, to communicate something. Probably it is more an expansion of collective awareness, allowing innate capabilities to become more evident.

I am finding it most difficult to separate my desire to serve mankind's greatest good for it's own sake without the fire to also benefit myself in some way -- also feel guilty for feeling that way knowing it is useless switching to higher dimensional thinking is harder than it looks because actually it's easy.

The ego-mind creates the struggle in us all. Not all find it easy to focus on the abstract. For me, it is natural, but I am Gemini and Asperger's. So I cannot say how it is for someone else. But, I've found it a great help to focus on and repeat to myself over the day, 'I am motivated by my love for Love itself.'

Like changing any mental habit, it requires some dedicated effort. I had an excess of baggage to work through, yet I am seeing the change in me.

I am in total agreement with all written here. This is rare for me. Came to this same understanding decades ago, and every thing that's happening since only confirms it for me. Darkest before the dawn. And the Schumann resonance of the planet has risen apparently and humanity is questioning everything, so a bit of chaos, but I feel it will settle out to respect, love and compassion. I tend to now go with the intent of many of these prophecies and focus on what I can do in the now. Nobody is going to wake to the Golden dawn if one does not open to the inner self. But I do feel the ascension is brewing.... But it's up to us all, or at least critical mass for it to continue . Nobody really knows, but it feels true to me💖

One so obvious truth, that is constantly in front of our eyes is that we have lack of compassion, not only to other human beings, but in far great percent towards animals. They are living beings, with souls and emotions.

My personal insight is that when I became vegan, just few days after that I felt great pain for animals and the next thing that showed up is compassion, which penetrated to my bones. I realised that my personal strugle to learn and feel self-love was directly connected to compassion for animals. What we give, returns to us, so if don't give our full compassion to all living beings, we can't feel compassion and love for ourselves in return. We are all one, but we must become aware in what way are we responsible for each and one living being and how our behaviour and habits are influenceing all living beings. Namaste🙏🤍

Yes, we all come through our awakenings in different ways. In 1968, as an 8th grader, I wrote a paper titled 'Man' about the way humans treat animals as objects and possessions. That's written in stories and following is an excerpt. I was raised in a meat eating family, and didn't become vegetarian until I was in my late forties, about 20 years ago. But being vegan can also be a trap, as I found when visiting Gentle World, a vegan community on the Big Island of Hawaii.

From 'Return to the River of No Return':

A dry, shuddering sound, vigorous and menacing, came from the direction of my tent. Cold reptilian eyes fixed their stare on me as I approached from the creek below.

I knew what it was, of course, but feared that my dog friend would not and shouted sharply for her to stay back.

The rattlesnake was coiled at the entrance of our dirt-floor tent, shaking its tail in warning.

At the creek I'd been carving on the forked end of a new walking stick. Still shouting at Kiche, I maneuvered around the snake, pinned the body to the ground under the fork, grabbed it closely behind the head and stabbed it through the brain with my carving knife.

Kiche and I had come here by bush pilot one week after my fifteenth birthday. We were dropped over the mountaintops in a sharp descent to a grassy landing strip along the river. The only other way is by hiking the trail for more than thirty miles from the end of the road.

Our tent was pitched at the base of a leaning tree near Cougar Creek. It was an hour’s hike from Jess and Dorothy Taylor, the old-timers who homesteaded at their hunting cabin – and many miles in any direction from other signs of civilization.

After killing the snake, I went on with gathering firewood – my senses on heightened alert. The sun set over the mountains and the high altitude air brought chill bumps to my skin. That night the stars were especially bright against the black void.

Why was a fifteen year old in this remote wilderness, alone with his dog? Well, it had to do with a paper I wrote titled, "Man."

My writing expressed the feelings I held towards mankind and his treatment of animals as objects and possessions and his inhumanity towards his fellow man. It was bound in a black binder when I handed it to my eighth grade science teacher and asked him for confidentiality.

Apparently disturbed by the writing, the teacher took it to the school counselor. They called my parents in for a conference, and I started seeing a psychologist as they feared I was anti-social. Somehow the plan arose to set me in the Idaho River of No Return Wilderness where Dad had done a bighorn sheep study years before. Perhaps by being away from human society for a summer, by myself, I would come to appreciate it more.

In the lower forty-eight, there is not a more raw or remote wilderness. It is rattlesnake country, and home to moose, great herds of elk, bighorn sheep, black bear and wolves. For centuries, up until the 1800s, a peaceful tribe who called themselves "People of the Sun" lived in the river canyons. Over the summer, while hiking the river trails, I killed eight rattlesnakes. Sure it was a contradiction of my principles. But I felt that if I did not kill the rattlers, they would kill Kiche or me. That summer I also found an arrowhead in an Indian mound, entered a cave with primitive paintings and had many dreams in the night....

Yes, and the story continues. 33 years after my summer in the wilderness, I returned with my wife. It's a bit of a read....

Return to the River of No Return
Thirty-three years after my summer of '68 in the wilderness, I met my life partner Kati in Ashland, Oregon. She was in America on a tourist visa and could not stay. I had made the choice to go with her, wherever she went. The question was, where? Our choices came to India or Spain. The hub, Is Destiny Real? tells more of the story of our meeting.

Kati had heard me talk about my summer in the wilderness. One day I wore a t-shirt printed with a message from an Idaho river town. Kati said, “That’s it! We’ll go to Idaho and find a clear answer in nature.”

A lot of water had passed under the bridge in the years since my boyhood experience. Through the traumas and choices of life, I had trapped myself in stiff, narrow-minded thinking then broken out of the entrapment to live who I am. After the break-out, Kati and I met. Now we were in a new relationship with an unknown future.

Headwaters
The highway carried us from city to city. A two lane road took us through smaller towns. Then the pavement ended and we followed a dirt road for miles through thick forests until we came to Yellowpine, a settlement with three bars and a few houses. From there it was more dirt road to an outfitter with horses and cabins at the headwaters of Big Creek. And then we hefted our backpacks and hiked.

At times I felt overwhelmed by the wonder of being back in this remote wilderness which had appeared many times in my dreams since that summer long ago.

A few hours in, we saw an unusual circle of white daisies in a grassy patch between us and the river. We decided to make the widened, flat area around it our base camp.

Kati pitched her tent under the trees, and I nearer the river’s edge. The landscape had been changed by an earthquake which brought down parts of the mountainside. Already we’d seen a huge black moose tramping through the woods above us, a black bear cub curled around a tree, and signs of a wolf kill on the trail. I found later, on a hike deeper into the wilderness, that the forest had overgrown the small cabin of an old river hermit I had visited as a boy.

Be Alert
Returning to our camp site from a day hike late one afternoon, I heard the inner voice say “Be alert.” When we retired into our tents that night, I fell easily into sleep, lulled by the sound of the river. I was awakened suddenly around midnight when Kati burst into my tent. She was frantic and disoriented. My inner calmness took over and I eased her into a calm space. We didn’t discuss what had happened until the next morning when we sat together on a log.

Without knowing the history, we felt that the clearing where we camped was connected with a battle. And the psycho-emotional energies of the dying wounded were still bound to the earth. They were asking us to help them be set free. It was our first experience with such a thing, but we just knew what to do. We sat facing the daisy circle and went within again. There we followed our inner guiding to set free the earthbound souls.

When we came back out from the inner work, Kati asked for a sign that it was complete. The air had been perfectly still, but in that moment a breeze blew, bending the daisy heads as if to nod yes. In our state of heightened awareness, Kati had seen spirals of light lifting from the earth and I had sensed a lifting and clearing of the energies.

Deeper into the Wilderness
The next day we were determined to hike the thirty-some miles to the old Taylor Ranch, now a research station of the University of Idaho. I hadn’t had any contact and didn’t know what we’d find, nor was anyone expecting us. We had outfitted ourselves marginally for this wilderness adventure, as we were expecting to afterwards fly either to India or Spain.

Kati’s tennis shoes were inadequate for the trail made rocky by earthquake rubble and her feet were soon blistered. The grey clouds gathered into a light, steady rain and we were soaked to the skin. We carried sleeping bags but not provisions, counting on the hospitality of the research station. We had no choice but to make it there before nightfall. At this altitude it would be cold and miserable without shelter.

On the way we met a packer riding horseback, who told us it was a hard day’s ride to the research station. He did not see a chance for us to make it on foot in one day. But we pressed on. It was mid-summer and the berry bushes along the trail made a welcome feast. In one bush, another surprise was hidden, as a rattlesnake lay coiled there. This time, I apologized for killing his ancestors, and wished him peace.

As we topped a crest, a herd of more than fifty elk trotted across the large meadow. The shadows were growing long and the sun was starting to set behind the mountains when we saw the first horse corral. Further downriver, we finally came to the suspension bridge that carried us to the other side. It was further up the mountain to the main cabin of the old Taylor Ranch than I remembered, but the feeling from so many years ago came back in waves of wonderment to be here.

I don't want to disparage anyone, and of course not all vegans are like the ones of the Gentle World community. My wife and I have been vegetarian for twenty years, and in a more supportive setting would be vegan. But then we might consider also that plants are beings, with sensitivity. For me, the essential is to be motivated by my love for Love Itself, and respectful towards all beings as you wrote. Thank you.
