Yesterday, I posted a question on 'what is the salvation of humanity?'

The response, across several groups, has been so generous, and the comments so enriching, I feel to publish them today.

As a matter of personal policy and respect, I ask commenters for their permission to re-print. If I have missed something, please let me know.

This type of interaction, and the gathering of various perspectives, feels especially useful and beneficial in these times. Thank you to all who comment.

I like it. I think the consciousness does what it does. We are one expression of that. We are in no way the end all be all of that consciousness. Whatever we become. Whatever becomes of us. The consciousness continues to spiral like every natural expression it manifests. That we are so fortunate to have the capacity to appreciate the transpiring is all that matters. It’s the song. The crescendos. The journey the spaces in between here and there that make the two distinct. I agree that the collective benefits when the individual takes their response ability seriously with honesty and commitment. That’s important. But I think it’s important I remember I can only change one persons world.

I feel it is wise to remember to keep my motives pure, and not *try* to change anyone's world but my own. Yet, when I change my world, it cannot help but change the world of others. Those around me are directly impacted by my acting more from love, and anyway, there is no *other*.

In what ways can my reactiveness, resistance, judgment, jealousy, fears, etc. actually be beneficial and useful? They show me where and when I am not embodying oneness consciousness. Then, I can remind myself, and let go of old patterns which block me from what is most essential.

As much as the individual paths of all souls are pre determined to achieve a certain outcome, so too is the time cycle the soul finds itself experiencing life within. The time cycles more or less have to do with the rise and fall of civilizations on the anvil of time.

This perspective becomes clear when looking into pre Greek and Roman civilizations. Take the meso American civilisations like the Mayans,the Oltecs and the Aztecs. The inhabitants simply vanished but left behind megalith remnants of their times of occupancy on planet Earth.

The same view is highlighted in the builders of ancient stone temples on the sub continent of India and even further east in what is now Cambodia and Burma.

The stone henge in England, the human-like figures carved out of solid granite on the uninhabited Easter aislands in South eastern Pacific, all point to abruptly vanishing civilizations, regardless of how mainstream archeology attempts to downplay with its preposterous theories.

I believe the individual soul and its essence to grow and evolve is somehow intricately woven into the civilization drama the soul chooses to experience life within.

Having said that, this current civilization is facing only two paths up ahead, as I am led to believe. One path leads to AI technology, and the world of cyborgs or trans-humanism.

The other leads to higher consciousness and a path into more awareness of love and light.

We are ascending and these shenanigans are a ploy to drop our collective vibration and delay ascension. The cure for parasitical predatory manipulation is to get in the heart space and practice love since the nefarious nets cannot trap us if we are at the “love and above” vibration. I feel like the best thing I can do now (and really anytime) is to continue to find the places in me that need love so they can be transmuted and I can lighten up!

Thank you for responding. I edited the post, as my intended emphasis is on what will lift humanity above the current condition. To me, it will take more than defeating the ego. But of course, if that is your perspective, I respect it as such.

Why so many want to fight or are determined to get rid of the ego? Being egoistic can be a bad thing, sure. But that doesn’t make the ego to an enemy. The ego can also be a motivator to be able to accomplish things.

Ego basically means self and is used overall in the spiritual community as egoistic and the need to get rid of it. But why? If the consciousness is pure love and creator of everything, then why humans where created with ego?

We are humans! And we do have to find a place in THIS world being less selfish. To me the distinction between human Love as incomplete and the perfect cosmic love is creating a separation itself. So again if we as human are created through cosmic consciousness with its purest love, how can human love be imperfect or incomplete?

But back to my beginning topic. I believe it is important to accept oneself to be human with all facets, with ego and to become aware of that existence. From this point on the world can be changed. I’m proud of my Ego or my self. It helped me to achieve quite a lot of things or getting through tough stuff. And who knows how many people I will be able to help with that ego achievements.

Arne, ego is a complicated subject in itself, and one which I have explored in depth over the years. To have any meaningful dialogue, we have first in my view to come to a mutual understanding of the terms, or at least how each other means the term 'ego.'

Because of the way they understand ego.

You ask, 'If the conciseness is pure love and creator of everything, then why humans where created with ego? We are humans!'

We have first to understand what is meant by a creator. Then, we could grapple with the question of whether humans were created with ego, or if that came with some kind of Fall. I do not have an answer, only speculation, which is not so useful.

I honor how it is for you, Arne, and would not try to change your perspective.

However, I would ask, if seeing a distinction between human love and Love for Love itself creates a separation, why is there a need for achievements? Are achievements not an effort to bring betterment?

I see the distinction between human love and Love for Love itself more as a spectrum than a separation. The ancient Greeks also distinguished between eight types of love, from Eros to agape. I see Love for Love itself as being beyond agape.

Knowing you as I do, for these twenty years, I know that what you write is real.

Arne Petersen, ego doesn’t mean self. Ego is the false representative of self. Ego is to be separate from the self and see things for its own survival. When we give up that, then we see things as they truly are without filtering them for use of the ego.

Yes, Brad, that is similar to my understanding of ego. Rather than calling it a false representation, which it also is, ego to me is a temporary placeholder. It has the purpose of enabling humans to function in the world until they are animated by the True Self.

Ego cannot be defeated or destroyed, but it loves the attention people give it when they try.

Here it may be useful to distinguish between individuality, personality, ego and self. I certainly don't have the answers or any global interpretations of these terms. My way of seeing is filtered through my unique human characteristics, which are influenced by many factors including genetics, environment during development, astrological alignments, soul qualities, and my interesting neurological anomalies of HSP, misophonia, and the autism spectrum.

What I wrote as a narrative for my daily soul journey to Void consciousness may not appeal to many at this time, but this paragraph gives some definition from my perspective:

'I am, a fractal of the One Being, a localization, of non-localized consciousness. I am Love, for Love itself. On this journey, of awareness expansion, 'I', refers to the fractal focus, of the I Am. Love, for Love itself, flows through me. We are, One Being.'

On the spectrum of consciousness, "l" is my individuality, which harbors my personality or ego. It is a focus within my limited human awareness. As my awareness expands, borders fade, and my individuality is no more. "I" now realize mySelf as the "I Am", the One Being, the cosmos of consciousness.

This is not merely conjecture. There are many cases of individual spontaneous experiences of Oneness or Cosmic consciousness. I have touched on the experience (without chemicals) over a soul journey I developed, and have had spontaneous Oneness experiences which lasted for a few hours.

Until now, functioning as an individual with Oneness consciousness has been difficult to sustain. I believe that cosmic energies are supportive for this advancement of humanity, at these current crossroads. If it is a genuine experience, the evidence of Void consciousness is seen in the qualities of ones actions, which are from Love for Love itself.
