RELATED POSTS ON WHOLE HUMAN END TIMES A NEW NEW TESTAMENT A LETTER FROM GARY TO HAL RECAP OF WEEK 30, 2021 RECAP OF WEEKS 32-33, 2021 REPOSING IN THE FULLNESS OCARINA O SPHERE OF LIGHT A Recap of Weeks 32-33, 2021 This morning I awakened with the words, Silver strands of humanity's beauty thread through black stones of humanity's shadows, and hang as an invisible necklace around my neck -- to accept each day as it is, to wear with grace and dignity. Questions keep arising from within: What is essential? What is valuable? What is important? What is Now? • Most essential to me are 'felt connection' and the E-Qualities (eternal qualities such as beauty, harmony, compassion....) • What is valuable is what I appreciate. • No-thing is important. • Every-thing real is Now. Since recently receiving a bass ocarina tuned to 432 Hz, felt connection has most often come over playing it. 'Felt connection' means generally, with everything, and especially in relationship. Not everything will resonate with me, but all can feel connected when viewed with neutral eyes. Hand made from purple clay by the master craftsman Song Wei, the bass tones of this ocarina resonate. Much heavier than my polycarbonate Alto C, it also is trickier to play and requires breath control from the diaphragm. In the ordering process, I asked about the craftsman and was told Song is his family name. Even if the word has another meaning in his native language, how perfect that a musical instrument is made by Song! While appreciating the crisp notes, light weight, and soft feel of the Noble Night Alto ocarina... I feel deeper relationship with the clay Bass C named Grace. To create vibrato on an ocarina, some players use one of four techniques. On an instruction video, the teacher says techniques force vibrato and none are needed. Instead he recommends good posture, diaphragm breathing, and staying relaxed. When vibrato is achieved by simply relaxing, the mark has been hit. Various devices and gadgets are manufactured to measure one's state, supposedly to help shift from tense to relaxed. Yet I've found that in the measuring, mental focus actually increases the tension in my body. Now without electronic gadgets I have a natural way to gauge and adjust my psychospiritual and physiological landscape and weather. With Grace, I aim not for musical perfection but for perfectly felt connection. 432 HZ "According to music theory, A=432 Hz is mathematically consistent with the universe. This is known as Verdi's 'A' – named after Giuseppe Verdi, a famous Italian composer. Music tuned to 432 Hz is softer and brighter, and is said to provide greater clarity and is easier on the ears." CELESTIAL ORIGINS A question was asked in a group about the 'Starseed Origins' of members, 'Where are you from?' Perhaps I relate to being from the future or another dimension rather than from a location or people. But.... in 2000, my new partner, an energy healer, gave me a light hands session the first week after we met, and was transported to a Cetacean planet. Her description spoken 21 years ago still speaks to me today. Possibly that is one location I am from. Playing Grace at times feels to me an entrance to such a place of 'higher dimension.' NEW NEW Somehow, 'A New New Testament' has also played a role in my life the past two weeks. Reading in it soothes me and gives a whole new perspective on a very old theme. Perhaps a connection between the ancient texts of the early Christ movement and the bass ocarina is found in the hymns I play with new meaning. Excerpts from the Nag Hammadi codices, integrated with the traditional New Testament into 'A New New Testament': "We have known you, O light of mind. O light of life, we have known you. O womb of all that grows, we have known you. O womb pregnant with the nature of the Father, we have known you. O never-ending endurance of the Father who gives birth, so we worship your goodness...." "... We came from the light, the place where the light generated itself and established itself, and has been made manifest in their image..." "... You have left out the Living One in your presence, and you spoke only about those who are dead." "... When you make the two one, and when you make the inside like the outside, and the outside like the inside, and the above like the below. And when you make the male and the female into a solitary one, so that the male is not male nor the female female...., then you will enter the realm." "...It is light. It cannot be limited because there is nothing before it to limit it. It is inscrutable for there is no one before it to scrutinize it. It is immeasurable because there is no other to measure it as though anything exists before it. It is invisible because there is no one to see it.... It is ineffable because no one has comprehended it in order to speak about it.... It is the immeasurable light, the pure one who is holy and unpolluted, the ineffable one who is incorruptibly perfect. It is neither perfection nor blessedness nor divinity, but it is a thing far superior to these. It is not boundless nor is it limited, but it is a thing far superior to these...." From the Companion section written by Hal Taussig: "In a similar way, in the Gospel of Thomas, Jesus says, 'I am the light which is above them all, I am the all. The all has come forth from me, and all has split open before me. Lift the stone, you will find me there. Split the piece of wood, I am there." "....Some early followers of Jesus, then, seem to have been attached and committed to Jesus as an 'I am', in which what it means to be human and what it means to be divine come together. This is quite different from some kinds of later Christianity which emphasize the huge gulf between the almighty God and sinful humanity. There seems to have been in the first two centuries a sense that stories and teachings of Jesus helped people feel a part of the larger universe and a belonging in the great 'I am' of God....' Thank you for reading. https://www.wholehuman.emanatepresence.com/blog/week-33 COMMENTS Theresa Stafford It is my sense that division began at the conference of Nicaea, when the teachings of Yeshua became the formalized religions we know today, with the main one being Christian, which later split again into Catholicism that ruled the world for the past 600 years. The more gentle faiths were eventually killed off, but with the rise of Feminine Principle they return in the gift of sacred music, and Soul Channeled art. In this way does Truth return from darkness into light, blending into One again. Gary Beautiful! May I add your comment to my post? Gaza-Kross Testimony Diles Yes ALL IS as IT IS, that means truth that can't be discribe easily in word completely. But what is christainity aiming? Gary Yours is a question for conversation. From my view, a distinction needs to be made between modern churchianity and the early Christ movement, to gain understanding. Are you up for exploring? I am not a scholar and make no claim of special knowledge. What comes to me is to look at motivations rather than aims. Without judgment, it seems that an underlying motivation of churchianity is power. Whereas, the early Christ movement feels motivated by connection, and was in the Flow... which was lost in ensuing centuries. Over-simplified, to be sure. Churchianity has its moments of service to humanity with its sense of community and charity. But the purity of motive is too often corrupted by exclusiveness, superiority, rigidness, dogma, hierarchy, and tribal mentality which keeps people small. Reading the Nag Hammadi codices alongside the traditional New Testament gives me a much broader perspective of the Christ movement of the early centuries.... which was corrupted and distorted into what's called Christianity today. What are your thoughts? Mahadeva Ishaya "In a similar way, in the Gospel of Thomas, Jesus says, 'I am the light which is above them all, I am the all. The all has come forth from me, and all has split open before me. Lift the stone, you will find me there. Split the piece of wood, I am there." Refers to the spirit/ All that IS/ Consciousness etc. The rest of your post seems to follow the outward orientation towards relative ideals and experiences. Really, the outer is simply a reflection of the boundless infinite consciousness. Whatever the mind wishes to experience it can draw forth from the infinite. The ego however becomes addicted to the sensations of experience and gets lost in them. Reminds me of a "TICK" Cartoon where the Tick is knocked unconscious and in his out of body state follows everything that is shiney... The addiction to sensory input traps the awareness in the "follow the shiny things" mode. All references to Enlightenment is the reorientation of SELF as spirit. As in the Gospel of Thomas quote, in the experience of immersion where Yoga or Union is experienced, the Self exists in all things. As you see the object, there the SELF resides (split a piece of wood and I am there). Jesus the Christ's testimony to the Unity Experience was in the statement, "I and my Father (the absolute, unmanifest Spirit/consciousness) are one. What the Father witnesses in me, I witness in the Father." No space or difference in one or the other. What is called light or presence is spirit or consciousness, and it cannot be contained in any object OR experience, yet people tend to follow experiences like they are something of a trail towards another something. That something they look for is the ego's perceived quart Jar that holds the ocean. It doesn't exist. No experience is the final or end all of experiences. You cannot dive into the infinite to find an end or an experience that contains MORE of consciousness. So what is important to one individual is not so important to another. Then when the body is turning to dust, that consciousness has no connection to relative ideals of importance that titillate the senses of the dead body.. Spirituality IS the exploration of spirit in everything. Life is meant to explore the spirit in all things and in all thoughts and feelings, yet the ego will simply divide what it calls spiritual from NON-spiritual ideals or idols. In death there is spirit. In birth there IS spirit. In rape, starvation, murder, pain and suffering, there is spirit. All conditions of perception that lead to suffering and pain are simply the rejection of spirit and the identification with the body as a victim to circumstances. So you can channel your bestest of the bestest thoughts, run a rod around a crystal bowl, position your hands in your favorite mudra to find the place where your tongue sits in that magic place in your mouth to find that special feeling or that special moment, but all the while you are searching, the divine sits silently by, waiting for you to recognize all that IS around you, in you and nowhere.... that you ignore for the mental masturbation and the illusory mental orgasm that you perceive is the magic mushroom to your enlightenment. Know thy SELF. Take the mind from the chatter and external senses that attach the awareness to the relative world and see the eternal SELF that exists in the NOW, that IS no place or point in time and space, but rather the consciousness that exists to create time and space in the reflection of the light that IS in that piece of wood etc. etc. etc. The present moment and the NOW, is simply the potential that IS the infinite SELF. There, ALL possible and probable realities and universes exist, with all the variations of the physical self and its dreams of being (something or nothing). You are not your body. Your are NOT the bodies of past present or future. Consciousness wears the body like you wear a hat. It changes it often and wears not ONE hat, but All of the hats that have been and will be........ IT (consciousness) will never become the HAT, Anymore than any body could or ever will contain all the knowledge or experience of the infinite mind. Gary My post is from a perspective. Your comment is from a perspective. What Sadhguru says is from a perspective. What Bruce Lipton says is from a perspective. However our perspectives may differ, they are always equally valid. May I add your comment to my post? Mahadeva Ishaya Is your perspective from a state of consciousness that recognizes there is only ONE consciousness and that ALL things are reflections of consciousness? Hence the reason for this thread regarding enlightenment and States of consciousness. There is a vast difference in perspectives in each of the 7 states of consciousness. Like a doctor who is familiar with surgery, that doctors perspective is going to be more intimate to the inner workings of the body in its mechanical nature than someone who has never studied medicine. That being said, perspectives are relative to knowledge and experience, or the state of consciousness of the observer. Gary You asked, 'Is your perspective from a state of consciousness that recognizes there is only ONE consciousness and that ALL things are reflections of consciousness?' Yes, from an early age I've recognized there is only ONE consciousness and that ALL things are reflections of consciousness. At 17, in 1971, I wrote prose titled 'The Universe is You' expressing the same. My website and blog, Whole Human, is loaded with the recognition, and follows my journey of expanding awareness. But recognizing and integrating Oneness are two different things. I am still integrating the recognition of Oneness. And you? Thank you for asking. Gary SOCRATES: "In the world of knowledge the idea of good appears last of all and we are barely capable of seeing it. However, when we do manage to see it, we conclude that it is the cause of all that is beautiful and right. It gives birth to light and to the lord of light in the visible world, and in the intelligible world it rules itself and is the source of truth and intelligibility. Now anyone who intends to act prudently either in public or private life must have her mind’s eye fixed upon this idea...." "However, our present discussion here indicates that this capacity, as well as the instrument that allows us to learn, exists in everyone’s soul already. It is as if our eyes were unable to turn from darkness to light without the entire body; in the same way, our instrument of learning, together with the entire soul, must keep turning away from the fleeting appearances of things, until our soul is able to see steadily into the true nature of things and detect the clearest part of it, which we call the good. Is this not true?" "So this is how things stand, my friend. If you will design a life for intended rulers that is better than the life of a mere ruler, you will be able to have a well-managed state. For only in such a state will those rule who are truly rich, not in gold but in virtue and wisdom, the sort of things that a truly blessed person should be rich in. However, if those who crave only after their own private advantage take on the administration of public affairs, thinking that this is how they grab at the greatest good, the state will never be managed well. A struggle for power will result, and this internal domestic war will destroy both themselves and the rest of the state." Gary: What does this mean? "If you will design a life for intended rulers that is better than the life of a mere ruler, you will be able to have a well-managed state." Mahadeva Ishaya The question I posed was not one for comparison but of objectivity. If one is not taking view from the best vantage point, then relative perspectives become opinions based on where you are at, mentally, physically, and from what level of experience and state of consciousness. There are 7 states of consciousness and all of them are supported by their own natural laws that are different. A doctor is best suited to treat a physical malady, where as a construction worker is suited to repair your home. Opinions and perspectives are both subjective and objective. When one has stilled the mind and freed themselves from comparison based identification with where they are at, then they are no looking outward from standing outside of the absolute, but rather being still looking at the reflection of Ones SELF. http://web.sbu.edu/theology/bychkov/plato%20republic%207.pdf Gary: "The life that embodies the true love of wisdom, then, is the only life that looks down upon political power." How is it meant, 'looks down upon political power'? Not from superiority I trust. From my current perspective, no human problem can be solved by politics, activism, or technology alone. The heart of any lasting change for the better, (that is, lives lived from expanded awareness and felt connection), is our psychospiritual evolution. Key to me is 'life that *embodies* the true love of wisdom'... how does one measure or know relatively objectively their own embodiment of 'the true love of wisdom'? My answer is to daily look honestly at my reactions or responses to the triggering stimuli life challenges me with. When I'm defensive, arrogant, controlling, etc., I know where my embodiment is incomplete. Mahadeva Ishaya Self referral is still not liberation. Trying to integrate oneness of intellectual property with another is duality rather than Unity. All things are ONE (unless you are trying to merge "some thing" or "no thing" with another). It is much simpler to focus on the absolute when it is a living thing within all thought feelings and action rather than to move the awareness outward into duality, removing the attention from the absolute SELF, to then engage in an outer object or experience in order to try and draw it into ones self. This however is the standard for the waking state approach to Spirituality. The recognition of a oneness within ones intellect at the level of faith is not enough. It has to be a direct living experience to which, when you immerse yourself into THAT, all other things disappear and all there IS, is the SELF. From THAT platform of existence one brings ones SELF out into the reflection of the SELF that IS the manifest. This is the science of YOGA. Matthew 6:33 King James Version 33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Unfortunately scripture has been somewhat misleading in that the waking state world has thru religion/belief and the waking state, taken simple thoughts like this and tried to superimpose simple ideas where there is no awareness of GOD into a world where concepts and perspectives divide oneness into categories of democracy. Where the majority rules and belief imagines what God is rather than speaking from direct experience. IT doesn't matter whether a Christed individual speaks from his experience to a person who has never seen or touched God. That Christed individual can't and never will be able to imbue the other with their own experience, as if handed down from one who sees to another who has not yet opened his or her eyes. There is a story where three blind men are tricked by a young boy. This young boy leads these three blind men individually to an elephant and lets them touch different parts of the elephant. One is lead to the leg, another the ear, and another the trunk. Each one has his own description of the elephant. The one who touches the ear claims the elephant is a large moving carpet. The one who touched the trunk claims it is like a huge writhing snake. The other who touched and felt the leg says its like a tree trunk. The fact that none of them can see leaves one to suspect their imagination rules their senses and feeling leaves their experience incomplete of knowing an elephant for lack of sight. A Sage enters the picture and suggests the three put their experiences together in order to see a greater picture. Even though this allegory fits the current situation with religions of faith, it matters not what a thousand blind people feel or think, when from their imagination they assume a position or a perspective that is founded in faith but not direct experience that includes ALL senses, including the subtle senses of exalted consciousness (the sixth state of consciousness). Experiences come and go. Self referral based on experiences that constantly change is not a STABLE platform but a continually changing platform where faith and belief shift daily towards the outer for validation. This is NOT YOGA. This is not the spiritual science that is passed down from teacher to student that maintains a lineage of Enlightenment.
Legend Of The Drummer Boy
Christmas is an important festival celebrated all around the world and is considered to be one of the most propitious festivals. Most children are well-versed with the myths, legends and stories associated with Christmas, with which they are all brought up with. The story of Rudolph, the story of the birth of Baby Jesus, and the story of Joseph and Mary's journey to Bethlehem are some of the stories that most people are familiar with. However, there is one story that many may not have paid attention to, one story of a young boy, who stayed till the end, but has still not managed to be a part of Biblical references. Apart from the shepherds, and the Wise Men who brought gifts from afar, there was one boy, who also witnessed the birth of Jesus Christ. Legend tells us that there was a drummer boy, who carried with him a great truth and a deep message. Read on to know more about the story of the Drummer boy. The Unnoticed Presence According to legend, there was once a young boy who was asleep in his house. A sudden sound woke him up and he was startled to find a parade taking place right outside his house. As a child, this young boy called Zach, was fascinated with parades and always wanted to be a part of it. He would often dream about dressing up and marching with others in the parade while playing the drum. Incidentally, Zach's parents gifted him with a drum set for his birthday the previous year, and seeing the parade taking place outside his house, Zach realized that it was his only chance to get out, play the drums and be a part of the colorful gala. He was stunned to see that the people who were parading outside were not ordinary men and women. They looked like wealthy people who were sitting on camels and were richly dressed. There were servants who led these camels, and Zach believed that this parade was headed towards Herod's palace. Therefore, like any other inquisitive 12 year old, Zack slipped out of his house, making sure not to awaken his parents and took his drum with him. Once he crept out of the door, he began playing the drums once he got in line with the parade; somewhere behind the last camel. He was unsure of where the big group was headed to, and he began to get carried away with his drum. He forgot that the people in Jerusalem were sleeping and all the noise that he was making, might actually awaken them. People scowled, yelled and even threw stones at poor little Zack, but he refused to stop playing. Little did Zack know that the parade was actually headed towards Bethlehem, and that he was headed towards a shed where a baby boy was born. The people knew right away that the new born baby was special because there was a single star that shone brightly in the sky above. All the wise men on the camels and the shepherds who were part of the parade carried princely gifts with them, but little Zack had nothing with him, but his drum. Zack noticed that the poorest widow at the shed also had something to present to the newborn, and gave in everything that she required to live, to this unique child. After all the other onlookers had left, the little drummer boy stood alone in the shed; his presence unnoticed. He was disappointed for not having brought a single gift with him. Without knowing what to do next, he began playing his drum, slow at first and then loud. Legend states, that Baby Jesus responded to the sound, turned his head towards the drummer boy and smiled; the first response to any gift presented to him on this special day. The drummer boy was no longer sad, as he believed that he presented Baby Jesus with the greatest gift of all; the gift of love. The legend of the Drummer Boy is a popular one and marks the significance of the greatest gift one can present to another one during Christmas. It might be hard to look for the perfect gift for loved ones during Christmas, but the story of the drummer boy teaches us a valuable lesson. This is the perfect story to read out to children on Christmas this year, with the moral of the story highlighting the importance of 'love' holding prime importance above everything else.
